PMI Artists Performing with Orchestras

Corpus Acrobatics — well-established acrobatic theatre company out of the Netherlands that has been staging spectacular acrobatic shows all over the world for more than ten years. Its circus theatre shows stand out because of their great visual impact, expression, sensational acrobatics, choreography, unique elegance and personal style. Yossi Arnheim — Former Principal Flutist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, offers a rich tapestry of world-class performances ranging from solo recitals, chamber music collaborations, World Music programs, and solo appearances with orchestras.  Acclaimed as one of the top flutists the world over, this artist also enjoys performing residencies and presenting master classes.  Among his many recordings, his Telemann Sonatas CD won the 1993 British Music Retailers Association Prize and his concerto performances with Zubin Mehta conducting garnered rave reviews throughout Europe and in Israel. Repertoire: Extensive collection of works for flute and orchestras, including a concerto for flute, electric guitar and orchestra premiered by him with Zubin Mehta conducting.

Shesh Besh — an Arab-Jewish Ensemble searching for an elusive balance of East and West in music, embodies two cultures living together in harmony.  It is comprised of two members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra alongside three of the finest musicians from Israel’s Arab community.  Shesh Besh is a model of tolerance and mutual respect in a turbulent Middle East. Jeri Sager — Broadway Actress and Recording Artist — Jeri Is a high energy and vocally exceptional artist who celebrates Broadway and its songs by sharing the stories she’s collected during her spectacular career.  She sings your absolute favorites from shows she’s starred in, such as CATS, EVITA, and LES MISERABLES, as well as some new songs you will love.  You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll feel like you were there, or remember you were!  With Jeri on your stage everyone is sure to have a blast!  Repertoire: Soloist performing Broadway hits – can be a full-length program. Theodore Roosevelt — The Man In The Arena is a celebration of Theodore Roosevelt – the essential American. Owen Wister, who knew him well, called him “the most American American who ever lived!”  . . . being a celebration of the Life, the acts and the exuberant excellence of THEODORE ROOSEVELT!  Repertoire: Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, or other narrations.

Thomas Jefferson — The Man Who Defined American Independence.  Imagine being invited to Monticello, to spend an hour — or perhaps even more — in the company of Thomas Jefferson. At 77, Mr. Jefferson is retired, but still busy establishing his University of Virginia, over-seeing its construction and developing its curriculum. At the same time he’s looking back on his life, reflecting on his “services” to our country, the things he’s been able to accomplish as well as things left undone.    (Orlando Resident.) Repertoire: Soul of a Nation, by Victoria Bond, for solo violin, strings, and narrator, 20 minutes.

Tel Aviv Wind Quintet — Sparkle, Dazzle, Excitement, and Staged Peter & the Wolf. One of the most successful chamber music ensembles in Israel today, established in 2009 by five young Israeli musicians seeking to expose a broader audience to the wonderful wind repertoire, as well as commissioned works. By combining music with other art forms such as theater and movement, the Quintet also aims to build upon and expand the existing concert format. Excellent for master classes and residencies. Rpertoire: Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat major, K. 297b.

SHTUBY— Rock Sensation, Performance Art, and Theatrical Circus. A star attraction in Israel and China, this is a multi-dimensional artist who performs everything from solo shows to performances with full symphony orchestra, as well as his own band.  The style of the music is a unique combination of electronic, rock, and Oriental music with high energy movement, projections and lighting.  If he does not get your audiences energized and moving nothing will.  Repertoire: Unique mix of rock, projections, dancers, and symphony orchestra.  Charts provided. The East Wind Duo — performing an unforgettable recital program of world music, the principal harpist and principal flutist of the Israel Philharmonic are among the best artists anywhere in the world.  They will be sure to capture your audience and transport them on a world-wide musical tour full of charm, grace, and the memorable artistry of these two world-class musicians. Repertoire: Mozart Flute & Harp Concerto in C, K. 299

Amy I-Lin Cheng — has performed in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the National Recital Hall of Taiwan.  She is the winner of the 2000 Heida Hermanns International Young Artist Piano Competition and toured Asia after winning first place in the Rising Young Artist Series in Taipei.  The New York Concert Review calls Cheng “a natural talent,” noting “her control of the keyboard is complete, technique easy and relaxed, with a wide range of touch, color and dynamics.” Repertoire: Extensive collection.

CHICAGO DANCE CRASH — The premier fusion-style contemporary dance company, emphasizing a unique mission of both athleticism and accessibility. The Chicago Dance Crash aesthetic is most notably recognized by its combination of concert and Hip Hop techniques in works ranging from full length productions to repertory pieces and freestyles.  CDC earned the “Most Inventive Work of the Year Award - 2017” from Dance Magazine. Repertoire: Varied depending on works on tour each season.
