PMI provides a unique blend of services to artists, arts organizations, and institutions of higher education.

We represent a diverse collection of quality artists in music, theatre, and dance as an artist’s management agency.  Please consider one or more of our international artists by going to our Artists Roster and let us assist you in building your programs and audiences.

For arts organizations, we provide a variety of services ranging from programming an entire series according you your specifications and using artists available through any management company.  We also offer support with grant writing, marketing, website development, and organizational development needs.  To learn more about how we can support your needs go to Services.

For higher education, in addition to all of the services available to arts organizations, we can assist in globalizing your institution and curriculum through our expertise in this area.

For artists, we provide direction in all areas of management and booking services. These include representing artists as booking conferences, as well as in-house services such as video editing, marketing, artistic input, and career development.

PMI is led by Dr. Manuel Prestamo, an internationally recognized arts administrator with over 30 years of experience in arts management, higher education, and artistic direction.  He served on the boards of the Harrison Academy for the Performing Arts, Honorary Advisory Board of the Respect Diversity Foundation, International Council of the Pennsylvania Academy of Music, the Oklahoma Governor’s International Team and the Oklahoma Israel Exchange.  He is past president of the Oklahoma Global Education Consortium, the Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges, and the Central Oklahoma Fulbright Association.   He served as a board member of the Conductors Guild and the American Council for International Intercultural Education, for whom he chaired three national conferences.

In the performing arts, Dr. Prestamo has served as an evaluator for grant panels of numerous local, state, regional, and national agencies, including the National Endowment for the Arts. He has made presentations at regional, national, and international performing arts conferences for over 30 years, as well as chaired webinars on the topic of arts administration. In the last 5 years, he envisioned and has been producing and developing at Arts Administration Video Series as a resource for institutions of higher education as well others interested in the topic.

In 1998, he created the Oklahoma Film Institute at Oklahoma City Community College, in collaboration with the Lt. Governor's Office, and has served as Executive Director of Arts Festival Oklahoma, the OK MOZART International Festival, and the Cultural Awareness Series at Oklahoma City Community College, where he was also a dean for 12 years.  In 2004 he was one of 65 leaders in higher education and the arts invited by the Association of Performing Arts Presenters to serve in the American Assembly at Columbia University. His services have been utilized by organizations in the United States, Austria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, Israel, and the Far East.

Testimonials:

"Thank you for the well-organized artist management and representation services that you provided on behalf of my artists at the recent Western Arts Alliance Conference in Phoenix.  We were so pleased with the outcome of the showcases, which would not have been possible without your professional touch. Dr. Prestamo is respected among Oklahoma’s higher education and civic leaders and was quite active in numerous professional and community organizations while an Oklahoma resident. He represented Oklahoma Community College, higher education, and the arts on local, state, national, and international levels. I am thankful for the contributions he made, not only to the College, but to the entire state of Oklahoma.

"On behalf of The College Music Society please accept our thanks and appreciation for your many contributions as a member of the Advisory Committee for Music in General Studies.  It is with your valued ideas and committed efforts that the Society has been able to move forward its goals and advance the profession.  Your membership on this committee has been instrumental in these endeavors. Your committee successfully accomplished a great deal on behalf of the Society.  Thank you, and congratulations on a job well done."

"Dr. Prestamo possesses one of the most creative minds I've had the privilege to encounter. He is able to see great potential in people and situations and to provide the ideas and human links necessary to create exciting opportunities through which many can benefit.  Dr. Prestamo is an excellent communicator. Not only does he have great ideas, but also he can articulate them most persuasively. He is very successful at raising both enthusiasm and dollars for projects and at rallying key people at high levels behind his projects. However, he always maintains the highest levels of integrity and decorum."

“Thank you for your prompt and expert service. As the Executive Director of The Poncan Theatre I find myself with more work than time. Like many who are employed in the field of presenting live performances, I find that the day to day operation of the theatre and all that entails often leaves me little time to dedicate to developing much needed grant funding streams. It has therefore been a particular pleasure to be able to call on you to perform the valuable task of assisting us in writing grants for our organization. In addition to helping meet an incredible deadline crunch, you also assisted us with selection of performers and made many other valuable suggestions for how we could maximize our impact as an arts organization in our community. Your knowledge of the grant process and your ability to work under extreme pressure are impressive. Undoubtedly many years of experience in the field of performing arts presentation has made you uniquely qualified to offer services to the often overworked, understaffed arts community. I count it a real pleasure to know that assistance from such a qualified colleague is available to our organization. I look forward to many more opportunities to work together in the future. Please accept this letter as my personal endorsement of PMI and feel free to share it with other potential clients. If I can be of any service to you, please do not hesitate to call on me."
